Project Summary

Cultural and Commercial Coffee Connection is a mobility and representation program aimed at connecting Colombian coffee producers and entrepreneurs with the world. It provides financial and logistical support for their participation in international coffee expos, cultural events, and commercial showcases—bridging tradition and innovation while opening new global markets.

Why This Matters

Colombian coffee producers, especially small-scale ones, often lack access to global stages where real commercial opportunities arise. At the same time, international fairs and expos are key spaces to connect with buyers, build alliances, and tell the authentic story behind every bean.

This project ensures that the voice of Colombian coffee is not only heard—but celebrated—on a global level.

What the Program Includes

• Full or partial sponsorships for travel, lodging, and participation in global coffee fairs

• Booth design and setup support for showcasing coffee and cultural elements

• Training prior to the events (elevator pitch, international trade, cultural representation)

• Marketing material development (brochures, visuals, product presentation)

• Post-event commercial follow-up and export guidance

• Representation of women-led or rural enterprises with limited exposure

• Small to medium coffee producers from Colombia

• Migrant-led or diaspora-linked coffee brands

• Women-led initiatives and socially focused coffee ventures

• Cultural representatives aligned with the specialty coffee identity

• Facilitate participation in 3–5 major international events per year

• Generate new export contracts or international sales for participants
